From Cairns to the Cape
From cane fields to tropical beaches and beautiful reefs, lush green rainforests of the Daintree to the dry landscapes of the Cape. Far North Queensland has beauty that feels untouched. I have called Cairns home for 3 years now, but have lived here on and off over the last 10 and it truly is a place that has always felt like home.
Although much of water up here may be full of swamp puppies and other spicy' s. It doesn't mean that there aren't a range of beautiful fresh swimming holes to choose from, with most having a Instagram worthy waterfall to take photos of show everyone just how outdoorsy you are.

who doesn't love a palm tree, sand between their toes and not 1000 other people on the beach like most places you go down south
*cough cough* the gold coast *cough cough*
It doesn't matter which route you take whether its inland or via the Daintree, the scenery between Cairns and Cooktown is worth seeing.

The road to the Cape has its own beauty again, dry red dirt, bushland, river beds, livestock and depending on the season smoke from back burning. The road to the destination, really is the destination itself.
